A routine that can help in maintain Thyroid gland health

To ensure that you remain as healthy as possible it is important to eat the right variety of foods in the correct proportions.

 

  • Eat every day at least 4 to 5 portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables.
  • Have meals which are on higher fibre starchy foods like potatoes, bread, rice or pasta.
  • Have dairy or dairy alternatives like yoghurt.
  • Start having Green tea.
  • Eat legumes or beans, pulses, fish, eggs, meat and other protein enriched foods.
  • Select unsaturated oils and spreads, and eat them in small amounts.
  • Drink enough of fluids (at least 6 to 8 glasses a day)
