When our thyroid is underproducing (hyperthyroidism) or overproducing (hypothyroidism), it can cause problematic symptoms like weight loss, weight gain irritability, fatigue, and more. Even sometime mood swings, sudden change in behaviour and a unknown stress without any reasons.

While we can’t prevent all thyroid disorders but we can take some thyroid-friendly diet steps that can help us to keep our thyroid working as well as possible.
1: Reduce eating “ultra-processed” foods
Examples - frozen meals, hot dogs, and some packaged foods, such as cakes, cookies, or other snacks.
These foods typically contain extracts that result in increased sugar, salt, or fats to enhance flavor. Decreasing your intake (or avoiding these foods altogether) may help reduce your risks for thyroid dysfunction.
2: Increase iron containing food in your diet
Iron-fortified foods, such as Spinach, Pomegranate, grains, cereals, and infant formulas
poultry
seafood
3: Consider a selenium supplement
Increase your selenium levels by increasing your intake of meat, seafood, or whole grains.
4: Start doing meditation, or exercise or yoga regularly as per your age and body
5: Sleep on time and wake up on time (Don’t follow sedentary lifestyle)
